Stichting Wildlife

Stichting Wildlife has been active with a large number of volunteers since June 1985. Also in Eindhoven Zoo!

Stichting Wildlife is active in Eindhoven Zoo, Safaripark Beekse Bergen, ZooParc Overloon and in AquaZoo Leeuwarden. The foundation is committed to various conservation projects and have all kinds of activities in the parks. These activities are provided by volunteers.

In Eindhoven Zoo you will meet the volunteers at the Wildlife Tree. The Wildlife Tree symbolizes a beautiful project, namely the adoption program. Would you like to adopt an animal? Then your name will appear in this Wildlife Tree!

Activities in Eindhoven Zoo

Eindhoven Zoo volunteers are active in various activities in the park. With these activities, they raise money that is used to support the foundation's conservation projects.

Objectives Stichting Wildlife.

The foundation works on 2 main objectives in several ways, namely:

  • Inform and educate about the world's endangered species.

  • Raising money for the protection of endangered species through donations and animal adoption.

Projects

Projects Stichting Wildlife supports include:

  • SPOTS Foundation (lions and cheetahs).

  • International Rhino Foundation (Indian rhinos).

  • Green Balkans (griffon vultures)

  • Red Panda Network (red pandas).

  • Talarak Foundation (Visaya warthogs)

Become a volunteer?

Stichting Wildlife is looking for new volunteers for Eindhoven Zoo! As a volunteer you will give guided tours and supervise children's parties. Before you start working you will receive extensive training. Click here for more information or to sign up immediately for the information afternoon.

Adopt an animal

It is possible to adopt an animal from one of the parks. As little as €25 per year, you can become the proud adopter of one of the animals. The adoption fee benefits the animal and nature conservation projects supported by the foundation. If you want to adopt an animal, please click here.
