These general conditions apply to all offers and agreements of Eindhoven Zoo Exploitatie B.V. relating to the sale and purchase of e-tickets for admission to and parking at Eindhoven Zoo Exploitatie B.V. (hereinafter referred to as: Eindhoven Zoo).

Eindhoven Zoo is located at Heiderschoor 24 in Mierlo (5731 RG) and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 17148216.

Eindhoven Zoo reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions. By placing an order via the webshop, you accept Eindhoven Zoo's offer.

Conclusion of the agreement

By fully and correctly completing the booking procedure on the Eindhoven Zoo website, the agreement for the purchase of an entrance ticket or parking ticket, hereinafter both referred to as 'e-ticket', is realised between you and Eindhoven Zoo. Once Eindhoven Zoo has received the total price due for the e-ticket you have purchased, it will send you confirmation of your order at the e-mail address you have provided. Eindhoven Zoo uses the payment environment of Ingenico Financial Solutions SA-NV (hereinafter: Ingenico). When checking out the order, you have the choice between several payment methods, including iDeal, VISA and Mastercard. Once your payment has been verified, we will be informed that the order has been paid. The purchase amount will be debited and charged immediately.

Correct data

You are responsible for filling in your details correctly and completely when ordering the e-ticket. Providing incorrect or incomplete data may result in the e-ticket you desire not being sent. Eindhoven Zoo is not obliged to pay any compensation to you in such a situation.

E-Ticket and validity

Your e-ticket comes with a unique barcode. This barcode is scanned at the Eindhoven Zoo entrance in case of an entrance ticket or at the barrier in the car park in case of a parking ticket. Each e-ticket can be used once and, in the case of an entrance ticket, is valid for one person. Each e-ticket has a validity period/date. Outside this validity period/date, the e-ticket is not valid.

An e-ticket, in the case of an entrance ticket, for a specific date is valid only on that particular date. An e-ticket without a date is valid until the date mentioned on the e-ticket and in the webshop. Parking tickets are sold without a specific date only and are valid until the date indicated on the parking ticket and in the webshop.

When leaving Eindhoven Zoo, but in any case when Eindhoven Zoo closes on the day of visit, the e-ticket's validity expires, as do unused parts of any package. At the request of an Eindhoven Zoo staff member, the e-ticket must be shown. A parking ticket expires after it has been used at the barrier of the Eindhoven Zoo car park. Resale, use for commercial purposes and/or counterfeiting of an e-ticket is not allowed.

Use of e-ticket

An e-ticket is valid only if it is printed in good quality on paper (colour or black and white) or if the e-ticket is displayed on the screen of a mobile phone or tablet and the barcode can be scanned. An e-ticket of which the barcode cannot be scanned, for example because the paper on which the e-ticket is printed is damaged or folded or because the barcode is otherwise illegible or only partially visible, is not valid and does not entitle you to admission to Eindhoven Zoo. Eindhoven Zoo is not obliged to pay any compensation to you in such a situation.

Cancellation

The right of withdrawal applies to e-tickets purchased online that are not date-purchased. This means that an e-ticket may be cancelled without giving a reason within 14 days from the date of purchase, provided the e-ticket has not yet been used.

In the case of an e-ticket purchased on date, the e-ticket purchase agreement cannot be cancelled. In that case, the e-ticket will not be taken back by Eindhoven Zoo, will not be exchanged for cash and will not be replaced by another admission ticket.

The validity period/date stated on the e-ticket will not be extended by Eindhoven Zoo.

Technical Failure

Eindhoven Zoo is not liable for any damage you suffer in the event your booking cannot be completed, processed and/or authorised correctly or on time due to a technical failure of any kind. Eindhoven Zoo is not obliged to pay any compensation to you in such a situation.

Park regulations

On the agreement to purchase an e-ticket, in addition to the general terms and conditions e-tickets, the park regulations apply. By entering Eindhoven Zoo, you agree to these park regulations. Eindhoven Zoo reserves the right to change the park regulations.

Processing personal data

Eindhoven Zoo processes your personal data carefully, complying with the laws and regulations for the protection of personal data. The details provided by you during the e-ticket ordering procedure are processed for the execution of the agreement between you and Eindhoven Zoo and to meet our legal obligations. The data you provide will be kept for as long as necessary for the purpose described above. The processing of personal data is subject to the privacy statement of Eindhoven Zoo. Eindhoven Zoo uses the services of Ingenico for the payment of your e-tickets. Ingenico is the responsible party in this respect. Ingenico's processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Statement of Ingenico.
