Article 1. Applicability

1. As soon as one enters Eindhoven Zoo, one accepts the applicability of these regulations and is obliged to strictly follow all regulations and instructions given by Eindhoven Zoo staff.

2. For all cases and/or situations for which these regulations do not provide, Eindhoven Zoo reserves the right to set additional rules verbally and/or in writing to which visitors are bound.

3. Under 'Eindhoven Zoo' and 'the park' in these regulations are also understood the catering facilities, the parking places and the bicycle shed.

4. The regulations have been established to ensure order and safety within Eindhoven Zoo.

Article 2. Entry and stay

1. Only with a valid entrance ticket you will have access to the park, through the designated entrance gates. This entrance ticket must also be shown in the park upon request.

2. Entry tickets are only valid during the date stated on the entry ticket and during the opening hours stated at the box office. Eindhoven Zoo is authorized to change the opening hours.

3. Children under the age of 10 may enter the park only under the continuous supervision and guidance of an adult (at least 18 years old).

4. Eindhoven Zoo is authorized to close (a) part(s) of the park, without being obliged to pay any compensation to its visitors.

5. It is not allowed to bring (domestic) animals into the park beyond the ticket booths. There is a kennel for dogs in the Eindhoven Zoo parking lot. An exception applies to assistance dogs, which are allowed provided the conditions are met.

6. It is not permitted to enter the park beyond the ticket booths with a bicycle, scooter, walking bike, tricycle, roller skates, rollerblades and/or, in Eindhoven Zoo's opinion, similar attributes.

7. Cars should be parked in the parking lot in the designated spaces, bicycles and mopeds should be placed in the bicycle parking area.

8. Before leaving the Eindhoven Zoo grounds you must purchase an exit ticket. These exit tickets are available at the box offices.

9. Climbing on or over walls and fences is not permitted.

10. Garbage should be deposited in the designated trash receptacles.

11. Consumption is mandatory in the catering facilities. It is not allowed to consume self-brought refreshments in the catering facilities.

12. It is not permitted to enter the park with sound equipment.

13. Visitors should hand over found objects in the park to Eindhoven Zoo staff.

14. Advertising, conducting public surveys, censuses, collections and offering goods and services on Eindhoven Zoo property is not permitted unless written permission is obtained from the General Manager.

15. The propagation of (religious) beliefs or the holding of demonstrations on Eindhoven Zoo grounds is not permitted, unless written permission has been obtained from the General Manager.

16. Eindhoven Zoo is a smoke- and vapor-free park. Smoking-including smoking e-cigarettes and vapes-is therefore not permitted in the park. Smoking is only allowed in the designated areas.

Article 3. Image and/or sound recordings

1. Eindhoven Zoo can make or have visual and/or sound recordings made of its park and of the persons present in or around the park. Eindhoven Zoo and the companies associated with it are authorized to use and publish these recordings, for example for promotional purposes. Naturally Eindhoven Zoo and its associated companies will observe the necessary care in doing so. Eindhoven Zoo and its associated companies owe no compensation to the persons portrayed in the recordings for their use and publication.If you do not want to be in the picture, avoid places where you will see a filmmaker, film crew and/or photographer at work.

2. It is not permitted to make sound, photo and/or film recordings or other visual material for commercial purposes at the park, unless written permission has been obtained from Eindhoven Zoo's General Manager.

3. The use of drones in and around Eindhoven Zoo is not permitted for safety and privacy protection reasons

Article 4. Animals

1. The feeding of animals is strictly prohibited. Only in the places indicated may the animals present there be fed with feed from the feed dispensers provided on site.

Article 5. Safety and liability

1. Eindhoven Zoo is entitled to deny access to visitors whom it finds or fears will disrupt order, peace and/or safety within the park.

Eindhoven Zoo is not obliged to pay any compensation. Offenses (or suspected offenses) will be reported to the police.

2. Eindhoven Zoo uses video cameras for your and our safety.

3. Visiting Eindhoven Zoo is done entirely at your own risk.

4. Within the park, you may go near and even among the animals in designated areas. Please be advised that the animals may exhibit unpredictable behavior which may cause you injury or damage to your property. By entering the park you accept this risk.

5. Eindhoven Zoo accepts no liability for personal injury and/or theft, loss, mislaying or damage to property of its visitors incurred during and/or as a result of a visit to the park, except as far as this has arisen as a result of intention or conscious recklessness on the part of (the management of) Eindhoven Zoo.

6. Eindhoven Zoo is not liable for consequential damage, including trading loss and loss of income.

7. As far as Eindhoven Zoo cannot appeal to the limitations of liability mentioned, its maximum liability is limited to the amount that is paid out under the liability insurance in the case in question, supplemented by the amount of the deductible.
