Dutch Association of Zoos
Eindhoven Zoo is affiliated with the NVD: Dutch Association of Zoos.
The NVD is the umbrella organization for the 13 largest Dutch zoos and was founded in 1966. It engages in advocacy, quality assurance and promoting collectivity among its members.
NVD zoos work closely together on breeding programs, education, conservation and research. Together, member zoos have established guidelines and codes for responsible management of animal collections.
Membership of the NVD can therefore be seen as a seal of quality for a zoo. Eindhoven Zoo is extremely proud to be a member of the NVD!
