Volunteers wanted for Stichting Wildlife
Stichting Wildlife in Eindhoven Zoo is looking for new, enthusiastic, educational volunteers, who enjoy working with a passionate team of Stichting Wildlife. For now the tasks consist of supervising in the maki area in the park and explaining to visitors in various ways about endangered animals and our conservation projects.
Stichting Wildlife has been active in Eindhoven Zoo since its opening. The group of volunteers currently consists of almost forty people. In addition to education, they dedicate themselves in various ways to generating funds for various conservation projects.
Training
Stichting Wildlife provides all new volunteers with thorough training so that they are well prepared to start working. Anyone who is older than 18, has a command of the Dutch language and is enthusiastic can become a volunteer in Eindhoven Zoo. A volunteer is available for a minimum of six half-days a month, working hours are always by mutual agreement and are recorded in a schedule.
Training days are every other week on Sundays. The course will start in January 2021.
In the current times, activities are different than usual. Right now we are providing an abbreviated training, so you can get started right away. Later you will attend catch-up days, to get ready for the full program of activities.
