Visitor record Eindhoven Zoo in week of 12-year anniversary

Eindhoven Zoo, the Family Zoo in Nuenen had an excellent May holiday week. The park, which celebrated its 12th anniversary last Wednesday, attracted as many as 13,750 visitors last week.

The previous weekly record was from 2015, when Eindhoven Zoo welcomed 13,564 visitors in seven days during the autumn vacations.

The beautiful weather obviously had a positive influence on visitor numbers over the past few days. The busiest day was May 5 (Ascension / Liberation Day) when the all-time day record was broken and as many as 3,600 visitors passed the gates of Eindhoven Zoo. The young polar bear twins Nick & Simon are currently enjoying great interest from the public.
