Olifant in Eindhoven Zoo

Visitor record for Eindhoven Zoo

A visitor record for Eindhoven Zoo! During the past autumn holiday week, no fewer than 13,564 zoo lovers visited the park in Nuenen. The old weekly record dated back to the first week of the May vacation in 2014 when 12,013 Eindhoven Zoo fans passed through the entrance gates. Eindhoven Zoo celebrated its 10th anniversary then, by the way.

Like last year, Eindhoven Zoo expects to reach around 250,000 visitors again in 2015. "The spring was a bit less, but after that the run was good. Whether we will cross the 250,000 mark remains to be seen. But this weekly record gives a nice boost in that regard, of course. Now let's hope that the beautiful autumn weather continues," said Eindhoven Zoo branch manager Martin van Hees.

Rating

Eindhoven Zoo is not only well visited, it is also important for the park that guest satisfaction continues to rise. Research shows that the appreciation mark is currently an average of 8.5 and that visitors are returning more and more often.

Sinterklaas

The zoo in Nuenen is open 365 days a year and there is always something to do. Of course, the park also pays attention to Saint Nicholas. Children up to 8 years old can download, print, fold and decorate their shoe and put it in Eindhoven Zoo until November 28. From November 29 to December 7 they can pick up their shoe. If all goes well, Sinterklaas will have put a present in it by then! On November 22 the group 'Drie van Sint' will give a spectacular performance, read more about it here.
