Over twenty lifelike dinosaurs on display during Dino Weeks at Eindhoven Zoo

More than twenty lifelike dinosaurs are taking up residence in Eindhoven Zoo again after last year's success. The prehistoric reptiles can be seen from Saturday, April 8 through Sunday, June 4 at the zoo in Mierlo.

The Omeisaurus, a nearly 7-meter-long herbivore, greets visitors as soon as they enter Eindhoven Zoo. Other previously unseen, imposing figures can be found throughout the park, such as the Gigantosaurus and Dimetrodon. Some popular dinosaurs from last year will also return to the park.

Besides the fact that the dinosaurs are incredibly impressive to see, the temporary exhibit is also educational. Through educational signs and a scavenger hunt, visitors will learn more about the prehistoric animals.

General manager Sander van der Heul: "It is of course very special that the distant ancestors of some of the animals from Eindhoven Zoo are temporarily taking up residence in the park. The timing with spring is also perfect in this: the birds lay eggs and hatch them, just like the dinosaurs did."

The prehistoric figures are part of the collection of Europe's largest traveling dino exhibit, World of Dinos.
