Start new season of 'Monkey visits the doctor'
The new season of the television program 'Komt een aap bij de dokter' starts on Saturday, May 7 on Omroep Brabant. Again there is plenty of attention for the ups and downs of the more than 1450 animals in Safaripark Beekse Bergen, but there are also trips on the program to Eindhoven Zoo in Nuenen.
Vet
Viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the animal caretakers and Tilburg veterinarian Jacques Kaandorp. Together they make sure the animals are and stay healthy. And if one of them is sick: Jacques comes! With a syringe, the blowpipe, or even the anesthetic gun. All this to make the animals better again. But they are not always waiting for the vet, because they are wild animals...
New
Highlights of the new season include the entanglements surrounding the pregnant elephant Punda at Beekse Bergen, the birth of polar bear twins Nick & Simon at Eindhoven Zoo and the transport of six lions from the Safari Park to ZooParc Overloon. This and much more can be seen from May 7 in 'Komt een aap bij de dokter' on Omroep Brabant: every Saturday from 18.45 hours (then repeated).
