Eindhoven Zoo reindeer herd expanded: Bjorn and Judith born
Eindhoven Zoo's reindeer herd has expanded. In the park near Eindhoven, male Bjorn and female Judith have given birth. The two are doing well.
Reindeer live naturally on tundra of North America, northern Europe and Asia. There they live in herds of sometimes as many as a thousand animals. This species falls under the "vulnerable" category on the IUCN Red List.
