Christmas at Eindhoven Zoo with dinners and Circus Mustache
Eindhoven Zoo is also enjoying itself during the Christmas vacations! The zoo's residents are already in the mood. On Christmas Day and Boxing Day they are served a special Christmas meal. Also great fun: at Circus Snor children learn all kinds of tricks.
From December 26 to 31, it is Open Piste every day from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Christmas Circus Eindhoven Zoo. Circus Mustache makes it possible for all children to get to work with balls, diabolos, cones, ribbons, rings, rope and unicycles. This way the children can learn fun tricks and feel like a real circus artist.
Eindhoven Zoo breathes a real winter atmosphere during the Christmas vacations. When entering the park you immediately notice the attractive decorations. Of course winter delicacies such as snert and hot chocolate are also available.
Christmas dinner for animals
On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, various animals will be served special Christmas dinners. On December 25, the ring-tailed lemurs will be surprised at 11 a.m. with a richly filled table of delicacies. A day later, it is the turn of the Barbary macaques who will then find Christmas trees decorated with tasty snacks in their enclosure at 11 a.m. The lions begin their Christmas meal on Christmas Day at 1:30 p.m. The tigers will have their turn on Boxing Day (also at 1:30 p.m.).
Both Christmas days also start at noon the "Tour de voer" with special Christmas snacks for various animal species. Children may help feed at this part! The seal show is also all about Christmas both days from 1 p.m. onwards. At 2 p.m. the elephants start their training. In Friends Kingdom, the Animal Quarter starts at 3 p.m. each time. At 3:30 p.m. it is time for the elephants' banquet. That will be a trumpeting!
