He who is not gone is seen!

Darwin's nandoes can run about 60 kilometers per hour. With that, they can easily escape a predator. Yet they do not always run away when there is danger. Sometimes they suddenly dive into the bushes during a chase. They then lie completely flat on the ground. Although they are quite large, this way they are usually not seen by the predator.
