  • Rock Wall

The rock wall you see in Bird Kingdom was made for us. We can build nests there, because in nature we nest on cliff edges and rock crevices. I nest and eat with my peers in a group. My beak looks like tweezers. With it, I pick up small animals such as beetles and caterpillars.

    Back in nature

Very few of my kind live in the wild. This is mainly due to the disappearance of good breeding sites and places to find food. Fortunately, in Morocco we are doing a little better thanks to help from conservationists. We also used to live in Europe. Zoos returned ibises to the Spanish and Austrian countryside. From Austria, we winter in Italy.

    Aircraft

Normally we would learn the flight path from our parents. The released birds learned it from people who flew with an airplane!
