Eindhoven Zoo seeks owners of lost cameras
Eindhoven Zoo has begun a search for the owners of two cameras found in the water at the park. While the devices are no longer salvageable, the memory cards of both devices are still completely intact.

Both devices were in the water for the beaver rats. They were found during maintenance work at the zoo. Remarkably, both were also lost in the month of May. However, in different years: on one device the last photo was taken in May 2018, the other was last used in 2014.
Children's photosThe devices feature pictures of animals from Eindhoven Zoo and children, among others. The device that hit the water in 2014 shows two young girls in bright summer dresses with colorful cardigans. The photos from 2018 focus on one girl. It was clearly colder then during their visit to the zoo - she is wearing a pink jacket and long white leggings under her blue skirt or dress.
General manager Chantal Ermers hopes the search has results: "These are obviously very personal photos that are probably really missed. Certainly the memory card that was lost in 2018 contains a lot of photos - the oldest dates from January 2012. I can imagine that someone there must have been really extremely upset when that device ended up in the water. It would therefore be very nice to be able to return the images to their owners."
